The battle ends, the banners are gone, and the field belongs to the rats. They arrive quietly, in hundreds, and cover whatever the war left behind. By morning, only a shield, a helmet or an outstretched arm shows where a soldier fell.
Swarms of Rats (Harvest of War) is a set of casualty markers for tabletop games: heaps of rats feeding on fallen warriors. Place one where a model is taken out of the fight, or scatter them across the battlefield after the fighting is done. They work equally well as grim set dressing for a plague village, a ruined camp or a dungeon corridor nobody has cleaned in years.
